DWARFS!

I'm going to start with my empire, obviously using them as Kingdoms of Men, but with some stuff represented by allied units - my greatswords will be a dwarf unit that I can't remember the name of, for example.

I've also got chaos and bretonnian armies that will eventually see some use. No immeditate plans for anything new, but I do still have that hobbit box which contains a lot of goblins...

No new army for me for the foreseeable. Initially, I'll use my Bretonnians as Kingdoms of Men, possibly interchanging with the Undead. However, I want to get my Wood Elves rebased and fixed up.

Theoretically, I could use both my Greeks or Carthaginians as Kingdoms of Men too.

And mine, not had chance to have a look yet, will do tomorrow. Quite keen to do some rebasing!

I've had a peruse through the armies and I can definitely do:

1000 points Kingdoms of Men
1500 points of Elves
1500 points of Undead

Not sure how good each army will be, but I've got enough to keep it interesting. Rebasing is probably a task for next year. Movement trays will do for now.

At a rough guess I can do shitloads for kingdoms of men. Even restricting it to empire its got to be well over 2000 but I will try to figure it out.

Ok, I'm slightly confused by the easy army site, is that definitely up to date?

Very rough guess so far (I need to sit down and figure out what I'm allowed with how the army structure works), my Empire is at 2500 before I start doing "allies" (units that I'd count as other forces) heroes or magic items. I do have some unpainted bits to add in too...

I think I can probably get to 3500-4000 with that. Then I have my Bretonnians. So I'm sure I could in theory do some very silly number.

Given that they recommend adding 3 feet of table width for every 1000 points above 2000, that means my Empire need a table 12 feet wide, so we may have to start playing on my lawn.

Or, I just have lots of choice when I come to play 2000 point games.

He was here! I sucked in the second game, but not as much as he did in the first, I lost 870-640 on the last dice roll of the game...

Essentially I played the first game like a retard and threw it on deployment. Misread the indirect fire rules and put my war machines behind everything. So, because I've never played before, Pete.won. However with the grand experience of a.single game under my belt I managed to prove that Pete.sucks on game two. Moral of the story: play a game before you take on Pete.
