That's why we want you to buy them instead of us!

We don't need houses for this, we need ruins.

Although I suppose your new house is kind of a reverse ruin at the moment.

Good thing is, anything we buy terrain wise will do for both this and KOW!

Initially, I think Frostgrave won't be too frosty though, given that most of our terrain is based in bright green flock.

I'm not going in for the frost setting stuff, just going to do it as all my fantasy stuff is done!

On a separate note. What Wizard school are we all considering?

I was looking at Thaumaturgist, but I keep being drawn by the more flashy schools.

Exactly! It's an entirely wise investment for you to make.

Possibly Chronomancer, but that's largely because I like the name. Elementalist is also a possibilty. I'm just going for "what I think my wizards look like" really.

Mike, do you need a zombie for your Necromancer? I've just found an old GW metal ghoul (unpainted).

I know most of you are 'rolling your own' but Matt and I went in the emporium today and they've got a pretty much complete range of Frostgrave stuff. In case you were interested.

6 pound for a Wizard and apprentice pack. I think the 20 pound box of soldiers might have been £19 but don't quote me on it. Pretty much the same prices as online really.

Cool. Might get a box of the soldiers next time i'm in town then. You still want to share a box Mike?

I had a look at those this afternoon too, they look nice! Sure the soldiers were the same price as North Star though. And I've got a Zombie Dwarf thanks Kieron!

Just a small point on simplicity and scale.

I've just played a simplified (in terms of warband) game with Grace (she's 5).

Me: Wizard, Treasure Hunter, Archer, Thug, Warhound
Grace: Wizard, Knight, Archer, Thug, Thief

The Wizards had only 3 spells each: Heal, Shield, Elemental Bolt

Not only could Grace play this with a little guidance, but a 2 player game is much more tactical than 3, even when up against a five-year-old. You can make good use of cover as your enemy is only coming from one direction.

Grace used a wider range of spells than Matt.
