I have a tower and some GW trees that both need painting. Also a river, few trees and a swamp.

Can't imagine you need a lot. Like those fantasy buildings that 4ground do so may see about a couple of those as we'll be playing kow more as well

Oh, my cottages will work for fantasy too, they just don't suit a ruined city idea. I've easily got enough for a KoW table. It seems to be very light on terrain - certainly compared to BA or FoW.

Just been looking through my Bretonnians and my band looks a bit like this:

Wizard
Apprentice
Man-at-Arms
Treasure Hunter
Archer
Thug
Thug

and 50 points of other stuff. This may be a single model, but I'm quite keen on a Warhound, a Thief and a third Thug, but may got for the addition ranged support of either a Crossbowman or a second Archer.

The only painting necessary is of the stuff I haven't decided on yet. I've no idea what type of wizard mine will be.

How many treasure tokens do I need to make?

Well I have the Forge World Coaching Inn from aeons ago to do, and a Wizard Tower that's quite imposing. Ive some obelisks etc too, although they have dormant Necrons on them (for when we play Terminator)

And I think it's six Treasure tokens, plus one for a major Treasure from what I can tell.

Cool. Thanks.

I'm going to use the funny knobbly scenic bases Knight Models have started using for the Batman stuff as they should work fine fire rubble to place my random treasure items on. I only have four at the moment, but I should be able to scare up a couple more as nobody seem to be using them for their intended purpose.

So, aside from my ever growing collection of faeces, Frostgrave turned up yesterday. £10 from eBay!

The rules are very simple and the campaign is very Mordheim. I guess the key element is in your selection of spells and how difficult they are for wizards of different school. It seems that lots of terrain is needed to limit the effectiveness of shooting.

It's slightly odd that summoning (demons, zombies, animals, constructs) are limited to one at a time, so Necromancers can't have swarms of the undead - it's clearly a balance issue.

If you don't want to buy the book, you can easily get by with the Henchman table and the Spell descriptions once you've built your warband.

We've all bought the book anyway. Well, apart from Matt. But I'm sure he'll catch up eventually.

So "man up" in this instance means "do as you're told"?

That doesn't seem like manning up.

I thought you were married. Doing as you're told is exactly what being a man is all about.
