It's one of those collectible magazine series that I spotted whilst Christmas shopping. I'm now trying to weigh up whether to buy the template and cards, knock up my own on Photoshop or wait until the OP6 event where you get given them for taking part.

I'm leaning towards the second and third ideas, although that cheap one on eBay is fairly tempting.

How big is it?

Pretty much the same size as the template appears to be. Still not sure about buying the template.

It has the fire arks on it. You can find the PDF for the rules for it online

My thinking is that if I can work out the diameter, then I can blow up a photo to make a mock up of the fire arcs. I've posted a question on Board Game Geek.

So, I've discovered that the template is 11" wide! The model is only about 6-8".

Not sure what to do now. I might just make a black base for it at the size it is. What do you think?

Get the cheap one off ebay, the model will look cool sitting in the middle of it and we won't go on endlessly about it being the wrong size!

I had a go but it went above what I was willing to pay for a bit of cardboard. It'll have to remain as pretty terrain for the time being.

I have a Bajoran Wormhole though... 

You can get some cream for that...
