I've just had the same thought. Will finish the last 3 models and then decide when I've been on holiday what to do next!

How did the other 2's game go last night? Had Wes painted anymore?

We played envelopment, I attacked (I wanted to see how hard it was to get footsloggers across the table) and got my bombardment off.

I started well, my sniper killed one of the US sniper team and the tank hunters assaulted the other one. The also shot up the mortar forcing it to run away, but not before it obliterated my AT gun.

My two outflanking units came on and both made it off the table, but my footslogging unit got whittled down by the late arriving tank which then proceeded to eat my small units.

The game eventually came down to Wes trying to kill my officer with three riflemen and his officer. Thankfully, he failed and I was able to run my officer off the table for a win. The final score was 13-8 to me, but if my Lieutenant had been killed it would have been a draw.

It was a good game and we played with special rules which were pretty balanced. The US fire and manoeuvre rule really helps them put out accurate shooting where they need it. When Wes finishes his BAR guys it's going to be pretty powerful. I tried to use my inexperienced team as Mortar fodder, but it ran away before they arrived so they advanced pretty much unopposed.

I may have over faced myself by basing and priming them all. Now they're just sitting there looking like an insurmountable challenge. It's cool though, a new season of Revolution is available now so they'll get painted while watching that.

Yes, I found watching paint dry to be more enjoyable than watching that show...

Oh, I didn't think it was too bad once they'd explained the stuff about why the power had gone out it got better, which was about half way through the first season. It's been cancelled anyway, so clearly America agrees with you.

The first two episodes of that are really American, lots of whooping, they stop doing it in later episodes though. It's a WB show as well, which is a network for teens really. Have you watched Arrow yet? I don't know anything about the comic book but so far Season 1 and 2 of that's been pretty good.

Having said that Arrow is a WB show as well and that's far darker, all I meant really was that you should expect a little bit of teen angst and relationships from the 100. Arrow has some but much less of that.

I have Arrow season 1 on DVD if you want to borrow it.
