Yes. Are we still thinking Flames of War or do we want do something else more inclusive like Bolt Action? I must admit that the D-Day desire that came over me has passed on with the anniversary having gone.

Either suits me, I've only got my two bazooka guys left to paint and I could do some more Bolt Action, if I can borrow some dice. Or we could do D-day-ing.

We could do bolt action tourney on my 2 tables. 500 points each. No special rules.

Oooh...that means no free meat shield, no super lmgs, no move and fire, no hidden WMDs.

That could be...interesting. Especially given that Wes will be bringing a tank!

I can do that! No special rules is interesting (although without massive bombs I feel a bit vulnerable).

Without special rules, I may still have some troops after turn three!

So how do we do the games? Two on small tables at the same time?

Yes! Draw names out and have a small knock out tournament? Or try and play each other once?

Are we doing scenarios or just knock down fights?

I think we ought to pick out scenarios that will work with 500 points.

Some just need the number of objectives reducing etc

I think if you play Top Secret for example it probably works without needing to change it. Can't remember the others though and Wes has my book at the moment. Sure we can figure something out easy enough though.

Slight problem. As of this morning I've apparently got labyrinthitis, which means I'm unlikely to be coming on Sunday unless the medication I've got is bloody good.

I played Wes, ended a draw! 3-2 to me on dice. I did blow up his tank though....

Then Wes played Matt. This didn't end so well for Wes! 4-1 to Matt I think.

What the hell did Matt use? How did he cope with the tank without his cheaty bombs?
