As it turned out, resistance was futile. Fleeing like a coward and crashing into planets appears to actually be a game winning strategy.

By which he means, resistance was not futile. Cos I beat him. Beat Wes too. Despite a series of crippling errors early on. Those guys really do suck.

They also spent all game moaning about each other's cards, when they should have been worrying about how awesome I am.

So Kieron won't be playing attack wing for a while then!

I'm just not playing Matt.

What actually happened was that Matt sucked so badly to begin with that we kind of forgot he was there and tore into each other. Matt flew around avoiding the game until Wes had been destroyed and I had a vulnerable ship. He then used one of the Federation's notoriously broken cards to defeat the player who had destroyed all the Kilngons and most of the Federation.

That's almost exactly what didn't happen. I weathered the storm of onrushing klingons, damaged the cube enough for the Klingons to kill it, did for some klingon ships, and ended up with my weakest ships left. Then at the end used the horribly unfair "photon torpedoes" to destroy the last Borg ship.

Then you both averted your gaze from my magnificence, before carrying me around on your shoulders for a victory lap.

Did a "Lilley Timewarp" happen?

This seems to be the way of all 3 player games with attack wing. Can't imagine it would be like this in x-wing when the 3rd faction is out

No time warping occurred. It was mainly Wes and Kieron complaining bitterly about each other's cards, and then destroying the ship they were complaining about.
