As and added bonus for Captain Treadhead, here's the latest FAQ & Errata. Veteran tanks no longer take pins from weapons that can't hurt them, and Regulars only do so 50% of the time.

Again, a document I didn't know existed. Additional units not in the Army books. The Germans get a lot of additional toys, the Americans get a few. The Soviets get none...

Great! An expensive Medic that can't hide and will get targeted by AT Rifles for easy kills!

I'm off to the shops!

You didn't see what happened last week. We played a three way game and I had five units. Two units got destroyed (or near as dammit) by Matt's bombs, and another was nuked by Wes' air strike. I was left with an officer (until he was shot) and an AT Gun which couldn't hit anything.

Hmmm...perhaps an Ambulance might be useful...

What he's painted so far backed up by my BUF.

Matt won by cheating/letting Wes and I kill each other.

Chillax! I've been out all day!

I've decided what army I want I've just got to paint 13 more men to finish it, and buy a machine gun group, and a bazooka team. I've finished building and half painted my tank.

About 500 without machine guns, and only one infantry squad. Could probably reach about 800 easy enough if I added an additional infantry squad and made everything veteran.

I doubt we'd enforce this, but technically that's not allowed (unless the US list specifically says it is) because you have to start with a lieutenant and two infantry squads.

How many men are in your infantry squad though? If you've got ten, and the army list allows squads of five, you can make it into two squads without any problems.

The next step is to start collecting dice I think.

After that, it's looking at everyday household items primarily in terms of what terrain feature they'd look like if spraypainted.

You know it's terminal when you can't watch a war film without pointing out that the tanks have the wrong number of road wheels.

Yeah easy army builder puts the lieutenant and two infantry squads in blue boxes, I didn't realise that meant mandatory. I haven't read all the rules yet.

So I now have 600 points consisting of a 1st lieutenant, 2 nco+5 men infantry squads, a Sherman, air observer+Man and bazooka squad (who aren't painted yet but it won't take long).

I need more dice.
