So with that shaped charge thing, are you saying that when they actually managed to destroy one of out tanks, Matt was actually cheating?

Yes, he cheated. He does this a lot.

And its a normal tank platoon but you can only buy inexperienced tanks. Unless there's no option for inexperienced ones. I which case they start at regulars with 2 skills

That is not what I read. Admittedly I was reading from the rules summary Easy Army gives you.

I was only firing over them, not through. We could argue about the 1" thing I suppose, but I don't think that would have stopped any shots I made.

They don't suffer the -1 penetration at long range. Your cheating mind read this and changed the rule to your benefit...

We even used that rule in our last game and forgot it again!

Wes appears to be going to watch hockey on Sunday now so looks like just three of us, I guess if we're quick we should all get a game.

Actually reversing would've been handy 'cause presumably Kieron's mortar would've been back to rolling a six which would have given me time to clear the pins.

Yes, although you can have multiple platoons

Rolls of a 1 for penetration against vehicles are always a failure!

Found that on the bolt action forum. Page 37 of the rulebook, last sentence, apparently.

I thought that was the case. 1 is always a failure.
