Matt, have you seen the re-crewing guns rules in the artillery section? I suspect that your French and their free gun are most likely to be able to take advantage of it.

The one thing I find a bit odd is the templates against guns. If you've modeled the crew close together, your guns are screwed!

I'm going to rebased all mine on foot square bases with a crew member in each corner....

They have to be within 2" of the centre of the gun.

A 1" template is going to hit my entire MMG team in one shot.

I definitely prefer the changes to the Recce rules. There's actually a chance of destroying a Puma, or at least preventing it from shooting, and the actually have a reconnaissance rule now too.

Thanks, but they are getting sold. Same argument as selling those Germans. It's a lot of work for an army which will mean my Rusdians see even less table time. I'd prefer to add interesting units to my Russians.

That's actually a very good thing. The two inexperienced guys in the platoon being the ones that get the mortar always bugged me.

That makes sense.

They really seem to have looked at all the stuff that were odd loopholes and tried to close them.
