My book turned up today and I've just finished reading it. There are plenty of new toys for all and the storyline really opens it up for Dropfleet, and provides plenty of opportunities for inter-species conflict.

Got mine too. The environmental rules look like fun!

I might dip into the bits box to make some gribblies! I've definitely got enough bats to make some vampires. I've also got some bits of fake flowers I've been holding onto to make some jungle/alien plants.

The environmental scenarios make up fun mini-campaigns too.

What's first on the to-buy list? I'm looking at some sappers as cheap building demo and long range naughtiness.

I fancy a Phoenix for an alternate commander and some Raven B for mobile AA.

I've already got half the stuff in there, but will the rest of it as I go along. The AA infantry look like fun too...

Anyway, it's only 3 E8 shots, from infinite range with a paltry down side that only affects reaction fire and can probably kill a Lifthawk in a turn...sob...
