The Old Buzzard

I have just paid my £21.00 to go this year. Playing FoW. There are 16 old hands playing WAB Exclamation I have only played skirmish games in 28mm for about 2 years now. (Time I got those Romans painted Embarassed )
WIll any of you guys be going?
Small children do not make it easy to get away for a full week-end.
But this is in Stockport these days. So not as far to go.

I think Bacon Mc Sandwich was getting his tournaments mixed up.
There were hundreds of 40K players, 19 WAB, lots of WFB, and 6 FoW. I think BB And Warmachine were on the go too but I didn't wait for the prizes at the end as I had lost too many games to be anywhere and thought the Brownie points for getting home early would be a good idea.
I was told I should have brought 30 Matildas. A mere 9 was sluming it!
With tank riders they are awesome against infantry but US against the front armour of just about everything in Late war.
Good fun though and great to see the old mates.
It is not the same as when it was in Preston though. That was being a kid again:D
Alas all thing must pass.
