Warpath! Oooh!

Just had an email to say they're doing a kickstarter for this. Hopefully will be a £10 rulebook like KOW so we can use our 40k models again!

Seem to remember it being a good game!

Definitely one to keep an eye on. I quite liked Warpath.

Going to be 2 games. Firefight base around 30 models, and the other based on much bigger games.

Looks like it'll be worth giving the alpha rules a try before committing.

The Kickstarter has begun. There's no rulebook only pledge or add ins at the moment, but the $1 pledge gets you the digital rule books.

I might go in for that just to see if it's worth buying the game. Although I suspect that as with KoW everything will be available anyway.

Wonder if the free dice are anything different that we might need?

Looking at them, I think they might just be to signify different orders you might have given a unit.

The $1 pledge gives you the PDFs of the three books, might be that full army lists etc aren't free after release, dunno.

I'm sure they'll do the book as £10 ones again. It works out at about that anyway at $50 for the 3

Just been having a gander and this is looking rather fab. As I'm sure you lot already have armies that are easily translatable from 40k (except Wes I guess) could I ask for a bit of notice before we all dive in this time. I have to build from nothing again for Sci-Fi, unless I use Daleks, so I'm considering a Forge Father force. About time we saw Squats again!

It's not heavily on my radar. I've kept my Blood Angels army and used them as Forge Fathers previously, but they'd probably work as Enforcers too.

I'll probably pick up the rulebook when it's released, but no more than that.

Are we all aware that Beta/playtest rules are now available for Warpath? Currently at second release, I think they're updating every couple of weeks to reflect feedback. Anyone up for it?

If it means I can use my space marines I'll have a look!
