The old one seems to work still but I don't think it'll be updated any more. Had a look at the new official one and registered:

Tried to do a list. Each individual list is now $1. Or you can buy all the lists from a book for various prices. Red bear is $19.50! Holy shit!

Glad I've got the lists I need in book format then.

Yeah. Although your ostfront book is so out of date it's not even on the old version anymore...

This is annoying. I did wonder how long Easy Army could go on as it was though. Battlefront do seem like the non-GW company that gets closest to acting like GW. They're not quite that evil, at least they bought Easy Army rather than just flinging lawyers at it, I suppose.

Mind you, normally I only want one list so I'd only pay $1. I guess they want to stop you getting access to all the lists for very cheap without buying a book, as you could with Easy Army before.

It just seems excessive. Some of the books are £30, then another £15 on top is harsh.

Suppose it's only newer books it affects. Back to pen and paper for them! Looking at the Overlord book for my Brits...

But I have to admit, I have the lists for one of the early war books in Easy Army, and thus have no real reason for buying the book. That's what they're trying to avoid I think.

Dunno how else they could do it though - some sort of code in the book to give you access online doesn't work as once that code is known everyone has access. Really I think you'd want access to the lists to come with the books, but there's no easy way to achieve that.

I think I've still got some of the PDFs saved. If so, there's a British infantry one that was later folded into the D-Day books that may suit your needs Pete. I'll check.

The pdf lists are still available on the old one. As are any of the lists you paid for. You just can't pay for any more on it.

This has been going on a while. They are available for the iPad too. So you could save on paper by saving the pdf on the pad and using that for reference during a game. But they can't make much money for the tanks anymore as no one buys them. Zvezda and Plastic soldier are good enough at half the price. This is a new income stream.
But they have gone off the boil. The FoW was cancelled at Derby due to last of support.
