It occurs to me that there are many Bolt Action infantry boxes available around the £15 mark. Many of these would be of use to me to extend my German force beyond Volksturm and would allow me to use those for larger games.

Just saying. santa

The Kreigsmarine box is one of those. Are you hinting that you'd like one of us to give you some seamen for Christmas?

I'd love it if you filled my stocking with seamen.

Or veteran grenadiers. Or Senegalese tirailleurs.

On the subject of this, keep your eye out for warlord doing there black Friday thing again. This was all there plastic infantry sprues at half price, I got a load of Germans and Brits in the offer last year

Oh yeah, that might interest me this time round as well. I need a few "actually trained" infantry for the German version of the partisans, otherwise everyone's inexperienced. Which is fine, but makes them about 2 points a unit.

If my anonymous benefactor wanted to get me Cheatari, that would fine too, mind...

Do you still need extra crew for your big howitzer?

Just asking...

But if it was me, I would say that...not that I'm saying it is me, just that if it was, I'd deny it.

If that's a secret santa purchase, I think you're doing it wrong.

Unlucky? That means that I really don't need to buy it and photocopying bills are reduced! Smile

Is it any good?

On a related, but separate note, I've just stumbled across this Kickstarter for a guy who's making 1/56 scale stuff. His latest project is German trucks and related vehicles for £13 each.

Just thought I'd mention it.

Not bad. Look a bit rough! Personally don't mind paying a few quid more for the Rubicon ones now I've seen how good the kits are
