Just saw a mention of this stuff on the Hawk forum.

Would need painting, but I like it, especially the overpass stuff.

Yeah, i was looking at that last week. Nice enough, might buy one to see how easy they are to paint. Thats the only thing that puts me off. The 4ground ones are really nice, already painted but seem a bit fiddly to put together!

4ground's 10mm terrain seems really expensive to me, too. This stuff seems more reasonable, but I agree, having to paint it puts me off a bit too. That said, just some overpasses may not be too bad. There are some interestingly shaped buildings as well, I like the art deco wedge one.

The main benefit I can see, having already got 30 card buildings, is that they are less likely to be nudged about when playing.

True.

Also, I'd like to have a less urban set up for mythical future games at mine. I was thinking a road through wooded areas with just enough buildings (power plants, industrial things maybe) to allow the scenarios to work.

Before I got my urban set, I was considering rocky canyons using fish tank ornaments and large hills to provide height.

Good plan! Doesn't that involve rebuilding the garage?

My plan? Yes. Had one quote from a roofer yesterday, another is coming tonight.

Then we need to get it wired up again (it's got sockets but the cable for them has been cut, presumably because it was some form of deathtrap).

Then the hole in the floor wants filling, and the door and window on the side need to be replaced, and some of the pointing wants looking at... but it's happening.

Unfortunately it'll have to be a utility room as well as a man cave though.

Bravo! That does sound a bit like a rebuild... As long as we don't have to look at your underwear going round in a washing machine it'll be fine!

Tumble dryer. The washing machine will still be in the kitchen.
