Otherworld Fantasy Skirmish

I'm going to be buying this.

It works off the same mechanics as 7TV and Doctor Who and looks like you'll be able to use the same models as you have for Frostgrave. It's likely to be more character-based and narrative, perhaps more suitable for one-off scenarios.

Matt, this might be a better fit for your Hobbit miniatures. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to use a lot of my fantasy stuff with it.

It's also more of an excuse to buy some of those quite pretty Otherworld Miniatures.

As I said. I'm getting it no matter what. Just thought I'd mention it.

I've bought the PDF (only £10ish) and it is pretty much the same rules as 7TV - so not difficult to learn. It's more set up for scenarios, but your Frostgrave stuff should translate perfectly and you can just play it as a pick up game once you've designed your band using one of the scenario outlines.

There are rules for pretty much every model Otherworld make, giving us all plenty of excuse to buy some!

But we all already have Frostgrave, to use our Frostgrave bands with. Why don't we just all play Frostgrave?

Because they're different games which do different things.

And Frostgrave is a bit one dimensional.

And I'd like to play Otherworld, or 7TV, or 7th Voyage or ZombieTV or even Doctor Who because I like the system.
