I'll be there. I aim to have at least read some of the rules, have decided what kind of wizard I want, printed off a copy of the warband sheet thingy and have formed a warband in various states of paintedness.

What do you think of the models? I do apologise that some/most of them are truly shit.

I had a look at them last night, they look alright to me. The water elemental one is quite amusing, I think there's enough to form an entire warband if I don't get chance to paint the Wizard and Apprentice that I've got.

Can you all bring any terrain you have that you consider appropriate? I've got 'enough' but from what I've been reading, you need lots of terrain to prevent shooting and shooty spells (i.e. Matt's cheaty Elementalist) from dominating.

Basically, anything stone seems to be about right - statues, ruins, walls, bridges (river?), etc. Maybe some additional trees too.

I've got a viking hut?

I'm throwing together a small graveyard.

I'll bring a bridge - doesn't have to cross anything!

My plastic dwarves are packed somewhere! My crossbowmen may have guns....

Let Down Hollin strikes again! Not gonna make it tonight, I've been out a lot longer than I expected today and I'm not going to make it back in time, sorry about that.

Short review of the game, lots of fun, don't expect strategy to work, a single bad or good dice roll can kill a character in one blow! Last night's game finished with only Matts wizard left standing with only 1 wound left...

And the obligatory Kieron rolling lots of 1's on a d20...

Make sure you have a killy spell on your Wizard for campaign games.
