When the kids go to school, they start joining clubs and you become their taxi.

How many Goblins did you get in the box?

Also, have you thought about Gandalf, Bilbo and some Dwarves as your Frostgrave party?

Phenomenal grammar in that post from the teacher!

I just thought I'd take the time to comment on one of your many qualities. I'm constantly in awe of you.

Yeah, but sometimes Steph can be their taxi. Hopefully. Maybe. Well, ok, probably not.

Haven't a clue. Some. There's a big goblin king fella on a throne, could probably do something with him.

Kieron wrote:Also, have you thought about Gandalf, Bilbo and some Dwarves as your Frostgrave party?
Vaguely. But there's a lot of new games being talked about these days, and I've still got my DzC stuff to do.

Don't be too hasty! Just received the Germany Strikes book. There's an optional special rule for French tanks that I think we should vote on as a group!

Where did you get it from? Amazon says it's not out until the 20th, was going to get it myself.

Is that a rule to hobble french tanks then?

The new lists are apparently only sample lists. They seem to be missing big gribblies, magic items and much in the way of unit options. However, there's definitely enough to be going on with, and you can get the full beta lists on the Mantic forum.

At the moment I can probably do 1500 points of Undead, and bigger if I ally my Elves with Kingdoms of Men, maybe 2000 points.

This is only a taster apparently. Also, have a look in the Kingdom's of Men list, there's an indirect war machine in there you could take as an ally, as long as you include a unit of something else from the list as slaves.

Here's the V2 Beta lists. These are apparently the full lists that will appear in the big book. I'd imagine there will be small changes but there is a wider selection of units available, including Abyssal Dwarf Rocket Launchers.

Have you saved these somewhere Kieron? I'm assuming the links are from somewhere official (that have probably actually been sent to me too, but I'm disorganised).

Do you know what's just occurred to me?

I don't need to know exactly how many of each model I have in order to work this stuff out.

I realise that's fairly obvious, but I'm so used to the WFB way of needing a big list of exactly what I have in order to make an army list...

I'll have a look later and estimate what I've got. Spoiler alert - it'll be loads.

The thing I've realised is I could do with a few more movement trays.

Warbases seem like the best bet for movement trays. They'll be slightly too big because of the edging, but that's always true of movement trays I guess.

If we do get into KoW, here's a little conversion job for Pete. These are a new Dwarf unit in the rulebook - sharpshooters.

Out of interest, what are we all using when KoW happens?

I'm definitely using the Abyssal Dwarf list with my Chaos Dwarfs, and Pete will uphold the time honoured tradition of vanilla Dwarfs, but what about the rest of you?

And are there plans for any new armies (or even new versions of old armies?)? I still have a few bits from my old Beastmen army that weren't stolen, so I think I may have a go with the Herd list that's just been released at some point in the future.
