Are we going again this year?

http://www.thejoyof6.co.uk

It might provide some motivation to get more done on what we have.

I'll go! As I was saying to Wes a while ago, 6mm generic type terrain - trees and hills and stuff - would work for non-urban DzC as well. Might have a look at that.

I've got a pass for going to this and doing something afterwards, but would need to be back for the evening.

What's the plan?

That's good as I'd need to be done by before 5 anyway!

What times it start?

We should:

1) Go to the show for 10am or not much later
2) Get some lunch (we went to the pub last time. This is the advantage of being in the centre of town)
3) Go back to someone's house and play something (full of specifics, me).

So whose house, and what do we play?

My house would be easier for me as I'm on nights that night. Depends who is coming what we play!

Is Let Down Hollin coming?

Supposedly, but I bet he hasn't seen this thread. Also you can't trust him.

If we start to say how much we're looking forward to him not coming, perhaps he'll let us down by showing up...

It's worth a try.

Your place is fine Pete, although bagsy being on the side of the table by the door.

What are we playing?

Could do bolt action again?

Could do the 4 player game Let Down Hollin ruined?

Does that mean planning a different 750 point force? OMG...that's so unfair!

You're welcome to use the same one.

If that was directed at me, bear in mind I'll be on your side this time...

No, it was aimed at "Point Blank"

We were both shit at that, if you remember. It's just that my tank paid the higher price.

Actually though, I was cheating! I've only realised this morning that the R35 is Slow, so shouldn't have been able to get into that mess in the first place.

Nah, game void. My tank would have survived had I not pulled that crazy stunt.

Anyway, I spoke to the Great Disappointer and he says he's coming and will play Bolt Action on Sunday, not that we can trust him.

Has he forgotten where the forum is again? Or is he going through one of his "too cool for it" phases?

Apparently he "didn't have time" to reply last night. He's a very busy man, as I'm sure you're aware.

Hang on...

Am I really getting grief for inaccurate tank fire from Panzer Pete with his inability to even hit a T-34 in the open...twice?

I only missed it once! The other 2 times I hit it but didn't damage it!

I think to be honest none of our tanks covered themselves with glory in that game.

The Panzer III covered itself in bits of gun crew at one point.
