So to get a sniper team, which I do want, I have to also get anti tank rifle and light mortar teams, which I don't.

Can't you just use something else as a sniper? Only has to be a model aiming his gun?

I would say something like 'he only needs a bit of cheese and to be doing a monkey impression' or 'can't it just be a man with his hands on his head?', but Pete's knocked us off that position of loftiness.

I suppose, their model is quite nice though. Don't need one yet anyway, at least until the rest are done.

Why don't you want the other stuff? Do you already have them? If you hold us to early war stuff, Anti-Tank Rifles are quite good. It's all variation for your army.

The at rifle is ok I suppose. The light mortar is pointless though. It uses the same spot as the medium mortar which I already have two of, and every squad has a VB launcher anyway which is almost as good as a light mortar.

All that said, I bet I end up buying this pack anyway, hence the annoyance.

You could sell the light mortar to somebody else doing a French army...

Or you could turn the mortar into a flag pole with a white flag...

I think the models could be easily converted into an objective market of two Frenchmen hiding.
