Just a thought for the weekend. I don't know what night folks are free, but does anybody fancy doing something a little bit Zombie?

Matt and I have painted a fair few shamblers now, we've got an entire city between us, I've got a simple set of one page rules for a cooperative survival game and it's HALLOWEEEEEEN!

What do you think?

I was thinking that I might try to use the Wargames Factory survivors to make replicas of each of use with appropriate weaponry...

It's Halloween weekend though.

When you say 'tricky', what do you mean? Tricky-impossible? Tricky-awkward? Tricky-death-looks-from-missus? Tricky-treaty? (See what I did there?)

Well if Matt can't make it, we can still do this. Although if this is the case I suggest my house because it's easier to set up and put away. If Matt can make it, Pete's makes more sense so we can do a big city.

At a push, I can also roll out my GW zombies to up the numbers a bit.

Just in case I manage to get some painting done before the weekend; in the event of a Zombie apocalypse, what would be your weapon of choice from the possible items around your house?

It looks like I can in fact do Saturday - although Wes currently has most of my buildings.

My preferred weapon would be one of my many crowbars. Possibly twinned with a lump hammer.

My preferred weapon would be a golf club. Preferably my Ping G25 driver, with low flex shaft and 10.5° adjustable loft....

I'm an expert at shafting.

I can actually do all the weapons requested. I'm going for my trusty hedge trimmer/chainsaw (without the cable). Yes, that will mean we all die.

I'm away for the rest of the week but I'll try to get them done for Saturday. If not we can just pick from amongst the survivors Matt and I have already.

I feel the need to contribute the following to this thread:

1) Wes complained that I didn't clarify that my difficulty this weekend comes from Nathan's christening. Which is this weekend. But it does look like the Saturday is actually ok.
2) I only meant Monday or Tuesday or something, not putting it off another week.
3) "Halloween Weekend" is not a Thing.
4) My lump hammer still has the label from Wickes on the handle. Make sure you get that.
5) Wes does have a longbow, but it's been a while since he last used it. Don't expect him to actually hit much.
6) A hedge trimmer? That's optimistic, that is. Maybe we could use you to draw the zombies away from us.
7) Does an adjustable loft mean you can set whether there's a water tank or old boxes up there?

So, I've decided that I can't be arsed to paint stuff for tomorrow night. I've got too much work to do.

I will do them. Just not now.

Tomorrow we'll have to pick from other survivor models. I don't have many, so could you bring some modern stuff along with your zombies Matt?

Mine are similarly generally armed with handguns, although some have bigger guns than that.
