I'm not free the night before. I'm free on the Friday (8th), but I think Kieron is still away.

We might actually be back. So don't rearrange yet. I'll check.

Though I'm unlikely to be able to do 1000 points by the weekend.

We could play bolt action at yours Wes, using smaller forces.

How did your bolt action game go?

It was good, we played the 'capture the other teams base' game type. It was a draw. Matt did get two guys touching my base but I managed to shoot one them before the end of the round then he failed the orders test for losing half your squad so the last man ran away. He thinks this means he won and the draw is simply a 'technicality', but a draws a draw.

Thats never been a win!

Have you painted much more?

I'm about halfway through the remainder of the men, I have assembled the HMG I bought, just need to paint that now as well. I'm getting nearer to that 1000 point goal.

As I explained to Wes, the judges awarded the game to me on points.

What points? I killed more units than you!

Which, as you even said yourself, was irrelevant in that scenario. I got the closest to achieving the objective, and am therefore the best.

Well, if Wes killed more units then I vote he wins!

That's what victory points are for in Bolt Action, to determine a winner if objectives aren't met. Wes wins, Matt hangs his head in shame for fielding a cobbled together hodge podge army and not buying the French that he wanted to.
