Kieron! I've heard good things about Song of Drums and Shakos, and I was wondering if you'd ever played it?

It's $8 for the pdf, and it looks like you hardly need any models - so it's likely to spur me to painting some of my napoleonics if we could actually have a game of something within our lifetimes...

While I'm on the subject, do you still have Muskets and Tomahawks, or did you sell that on in the end?

Still got it. Happy to give that a go before you spend on Songs of Drums and Shakos, which I might actually have somewhere, along with Sharpe Practice.

I did like that the SoDaS description said between 6 and 20 models. I've already got that many painted!

So remind me, what do I need, as an absolute minimum, to try out Muskets and Tomahawks?

Don't know off the top of my head. Can't remember, I try to check it tonight.

Cheers! I feel like you said something like units of 12 before, but I'm not sure.

Light Infantry are in units of 6-12
Regular Infantry in units of 8-12
Cavalry is in units of 4-8

You must have at least 1 officer and at least 10 models in the force.

I seem to remember that you've done about eight Rifles and a couple of Line Infantry so you'd need to do half a dozen models more to play.

I could probably muster similar for the Americans, but I'd need to paint them first.

Hmmm, that's actually more interesting. I've got 8 rifles and 4 line infantry painted. So, another 4 line infantry and an officer gets me there.

It also makes painting the Scots Greys worthwhile.

And, if we don't take to M&T, SoDaS is pretty cheap.

Ok, that's a plan then!

Technically, the cavalry in M&T is light, but I'm not sure we'll worry too much about it. In the numbers and scale we're looking at, a guy on a horse is a guy on a horse.
